Description: This GIS data layer is of the twelve (12) City of Atlanta council districts and depicts the current council members names who manage those districts. This data was last updated in 2013. Because the council members names change for each boundary, this data set will be updated yearly and as needed.

Copyright Text: The council district boundary is maintained by the City of Atlanta, Department of Planning GIS. This department will povide the update for the GIS layer, however, they do not include the names. Adding the council members names to the council district boundary is the task performed by the City of Atlanta, Dept of Watershed Management, Office of Engineering Services, GIS Division.
